This is my signature weave structure. The overall raised texture of the lace gives the fabric depth and elegance. Tightly gathered groups of silk underneath longer floats on the surface also create scalloped edges for a neat finish. Scarves and shawls are handknotted with 3 inch fringes. Available in black or white

Overshot Silk Scarf
This great block patterned scarf has function and class. It is a silk plain weave for density and durability with an accent pattern weft available in any of HerrLoom’s silk-wool colors. Each side is different--one favors the pattern weft showing bright block patterns, and the other shows the plain weave which appears as a neat needlepoint surface. Black or white silk may be used as the background color and then just about anything goes. I haven’t yet seen a combination that I don’t like.

Broken Twill Boucle

These scarves are perfect for evening accessory wear, or for silky warmth with a touch of class. The boucle mixed into the warp creates a nice nubbly effect in the weave and adds interest to the fringes. More colors are available; create your own, or see what I have in stock.

Honeycomb Scarf
This scarf is available in all of my silk wool colors on a white warp. One side favors the color yarn in a soft satin stitch, while the other shows raised honeycomb cells of the same color enclosed in white. An excellent two-sided effect! These scarves are handknotted with a 3 inch fringe.
